We have another Rita Ora x adidas originals zx flux collaboration and this time the British singer puts her own spin on the adidas Originals Superstar Up. After showing you her version of the Stan Smith last week that featured slight splashes of color on the heel tab, this time the color palette is turned up to a whole new level. This silhouette is the high top edition of the Superstar that we all know and love that has been transformed into a wedge for the women. Rita Ora places a colorful pop art print all over the upper that features red, blue, black, yellow and white. The shoe is constructed of canvas with the exception of the signature shell toe. The signature Three Stripes on the side panels are composed of black patent leather to add to the loud look of the shoe. The Rodrigo ZX Vulc version is dressed in a white ripstop nylon upper while being reinforced with black suede and hit of blue accents all over the shoe. While the Sucii version will come adorned in a neutral grey tones with hits of lime and gold all over the shoe. Both signature adidas ZX Vulc colorways are set to arrive at participating adidas skateboard retailers.
Neighborhood and adidas zx flux are teaming up for Spring/Summer 2015 for a collection that includes a wide array of footwear and apparel. On the footwear side we have already seen the ZX 500 as well as the Campus 80s, and now we have additional images of the Boston Super OG. The collaborative Boston Super from Neighborhood and adidas Originals has been given a stealth look by opting out for a mostly all black look. Suede overlays have been placed on the eyestay, heel and around the toe while the rest of the shoe is constructed of a synthetic base. Neighborhood branding has been added on the heel tab, tongue and ankle in addition to a white jagged pattern on the midsole. You can pick up the Neighborhood x adidas Originals Boston Super OG at select retailers today. adidas is reaching into the archives with this latest release that should have those OG sneakerheads excited to cop.
Originally released in 1970 as a cross country runner, the adidas jeremy scott is now back with that same retro look and feel. This time the retro runner has been equipped in a classic combination of white and Collegiate Green. The upper is fitted using a white nylon base with the Three Stripes, heel tab and midsole done in Collegiate Green. Grey nubuck detailing has been added on the toe, heel and lace eyestay to keep the retro look of the sneaker. Finishing things off proper is a gum outsole which is definitely vintage. The suede upper sits on a thick Black midsole, which pairs nicely with the darker shades of Blue that land on the adidas branding and heel. The adidas Originals Topanga in Blue is a great pick if you’re looking to get something flashy but not too loud.
